Tenterden Swords FC would like to welcome you to the 36th
at the University of Kent, Canterbury,
and Sunday 22 March 2015
The Invicta has developed from a small provincial competition to a truly international event, with overseas entries from our friends
from Belgium and the Netherlands as well as others from the continent and elsewhere. It has earned an enviable reputation as a
hard-fought but friendly competition with an excellent atmosphere, welcoming everybody from near beginners to regular open
finalists, and has an exceptional venue at UKC. This year we will be providing metal pistes for all the foil and epee fights and SG12
scoring boxes throughout at all weapons.
Tenterden Swords would like to thank Leon Paul for the supply of some of the scoring kit and the equipment stand, UKC for the
excellent facilities, England Fencing for the supply of pistes and display screens for the pools and DE results and Sport80 for the online
entry system. The Invicta is now part of the South East Open Epee Series, sponsored by Sussex brewers Harveys.
Closing Date Sunday 15 March 2015

£25.00 for one weapon, £45.00 for two weapons.
Late entries £5.00 extra. It is not possible to enter both epee and sabre.

Venue The Sports Centre, University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7NL, U.K. For maps see http://www.kent.ac.uk/maps/
Prizes Medals will be awarded to the top eight in each event, prizes to the top four. Additional trophies will be awarded
to the top veteran (40 and over) and medals to the top under-20 in all events.
Notes A plate competition will be run for fencers eliminated in the pools. Numbers may be limited to ensure the smooth
running of the competition; late entries will be accepted only at the organisers’ discretion and may have to join a
waiting list. BFA membership, or national equivalent, is compulsory. We aim to start promptly after the check-ins
close - fencers arriving late may well be able to fence only in the plate competitions. British Fencing rules mean
the minimum age for entrants is 13 at 1
January 2015. Armoury facilities and hot and cold food will be available.
On the days of the event only, please call 07519 175855 if you are running late.
