Their betrothal makes it an exceptional year for the BFC:
Toby got wed in the Summer and celebrated his honeymoon in Cuba.
And Treasurer Andrew Brown married Secretary Silvia in August in Scotland.
The prestigious event of the year was won by the Epee Coach, Quentin Berriman. In a hard fought finale with George Partridge Quentin finally managed to burst George's balloon with a loud bang and flourish! The Club Chairman presented him with a specially minted Collector's medal. As well, he was awarded a box of chocolates.
Best Result for a Bedford Team in the Nationals Ever!
The Men's Epee team had a brilliant day out at the Leon Paul Centre on Sunday 29th November, coming 4th in the National Epee Team competition.
The team were former National Champion and Club Coach Quentin Berriman, Jean-Luc Janet, Darran Milne and George Partridge.
This year's Christmas Party will be on 15th December: the last night of fencing before Christmas. There is a traditional hard fought competition for the Balloon competition - with memorable victories for past winners!! The evening's fencing ends early than usual to enable fencers to get to the Bull for a buffet meal.
