Caroline Clancy had a thrilling time at her first Veterans World Championships in Limoges, France in October 2015. Seeded 25th after the first pool, she came up against the 8th Seed, Italian Margherita Camerin. Caroline fought her way to a well deserved 10-7 victory but she went out to another Italian, Gabriella Lionetta. Caroline finished in the last 16 - a wonderful first World Championship result.
Geoffrey Silverman had a terrific start in his event, winning 3 fights in his first round pool. He just missed the last 16, being placed 17th.
Silvia Brown brought up the rear guard, coming 18th in her event.
The BFC fencers were well supported by Head Coach, Professor Jonathan Katz.
